Photistica Studios is a Vancouver-based photography agency dedicated to the art of capturing special moments and transferring them into enduring precious memories. Our role as artists is to see the hidden beauty of the world, capture the heart and soul of humanity, and document the special moment of life and love so they can be shared with family and friends. We make sure to capture those special moments of happiness, laughter, tears of joy, love and timeless photographs for you to cherish forever.
Get To Know Sarah
I was 10 years old in the picture, modeling my uncle’s Lecia camera. I remember admiring his creative eye with photography and pictured myself one day becoming a professional photographer.
I have had a passion for photography since I was a young girl. One Christmas I asked my mother for a camera and a book on how to become a professional photographer.
I took that camera everywhere, and even brought it with me when I traveled around Canada as a teenager. I still have this old camera with undeveloped film still within it, and one day I intend to surprise myself and enjoy these memories from the past.
I am now a proud professional photographer who loves what I do and enjoy photographing people in ways that bring out their true light. I find new and creative ways to bring out people’s true personalities by helping them to smile with their eyes.
I enjoy making my photoshoots fun, easy going and stress free so people have the space to feel comfortable and relaxed, which allows them to bring their own creative nature into picture.
“I go the extra mile for my clients.” is my business motto.
Photography is not just a paying career for me — it is also about caring for others and being responsive to their wishes. My goal is to capture special moments that each client and their families and friends will enjoy and treasure for many years to come.
My clients will be able to view their memories easily and as early as possible. As soon as I add edited photos to their online gallery, my clients can start downloading, printing and sharing their photographs with family and friends.

Becoming an Artist
Pablo Picasso famously said: “Every child is an artist.” The problem, he cautioned, is how to remain an artist into adulthood. I interpret this to mean that an essential step of being an artist is to be curious about the world and artistic expression. We must observe, explore, dream and imagine if we are to discover and develop our talents.
Artists cannot be afraid to fail or try different approaches and perspectives. We must learn new skills and techniques yet still be innovative and imaginative. We must continually strive to create something that is extraordinary, unexpected and profound.
